AI Website Assistant

Eight out of ten questions this week were the same five questions. Someone — you, your assistant, your spouse — answered every one of them.

Who this is for

Service businesses with a website, recurring inbound questions, and a real human cost to answering them. Best for owners and operators who get the same questions every week but still need a human involved when a visitor asks about pricing, scope, sensitive information, or next steps.

Problem we solve

You answer the same five questions all day. Or worse — you don't, and prospects bounce because nobody replied. By the time you're back at your desk, the visitor has moved on to the competitor whose chatbot did pick up.

What you walk out with

  • Instant first response to common questions, 24/7.
  • Qualified-lead handoff when the visitor signals real intent.
  • A clean monthly transcript so you can see what people actually ask.
  • No hallucinated pricing or promises — the assistant is configured to escalate, not guess.
  • A 30-day tuning window capped at 5 hours for issues related to the original approved scope.

Try it before you buy it

The same assistant we deploy for clients runs on the same engine. You see the response time, the tone, and the escalation behavior before you book a call.

Where this stands today

We’ve built and run this pattern for our own site. We haven’t yet shipped it as a productized SaaS deployment for outside clients — the first two clients in mid-2026 are a guided pilot. You get a senior implementer on the deployment, a 30-day tuning window after launch, and the right to terminate the engagement after 90 days if it doesn’t earn its keep — no long-term contract, no penalty.

If you want a fully self-serve drop-in, we are not the right vendor today. If you want a careful, supervised first deployment with a clear path to scale, we are.

Starter Assistant

Public price

$1,250 setup + software/usage

1–2 weeks · guided pilot · KV Intelligence engineering

One website, FAQ training from your existing content, lead-capture form handoff, calendar-booking handoff, and a 30-day tuning window capped at 5 hours. Typical software/usage is $50–$250/month depending on vendor, traffic, AI model, content refresh, and integrations. Software and usage are billed directly to you where possible or passed through at cost — KV Intelligence does not mark up usage.

Pro Assistant

Starting at $3,500 + software/usage

2–4 weeks · senior implementer with founder oversight

Multi-page knowledge setup, structured lead capture, CRM or lead-sheet writeback, calendar booking handoff, custom voice and tone tuning, and monthly transcript review for 90 days after launch. Especially valuable for service businesses with multiple service lines, complex pricing structures, or compliance-sensitive content where "let me look that up" routing matters.

Custom Assistant

Quoted after Discovery Sprint

Scoped per engagement · senior implementer with dedicated lead

Multi-tenant, white-label, regulated, high-volume, internal-staff, or document-heavy deployments. May include internal knowledge assistants, document Q&A applications, authenticated user flows, custom CRM/API actions, multilingual support, analytics dashboards, security review, and managed support.

Web Discovery Sprint

Optional add-on

$1,500 · credited toward Pro

5 business days · required when scope is unclear

When a Pro engagement involves regulated data, complex documents, custom CRM writeback, multilingual behavior, internal staff assistant use, or unclear content scope, we run a 5-day paid scoping engagement first — fully credited toward your Pro Assistant if signed within 30 days. Includes content audit and knowledge-base architecture, CRM and lead-routing integration plan, tone and voice profile mapped against your brand, escalation rules for pricing/scope/sensitive questions, test conversation plan, and a fixed-price Pro quote with assumptions and risks called out.

FAQ

Is this live, or just a demo? +

Starter Assistant is a guided pilot — a real chat assistant deployed to one approved website or test page, trained on your existing content. It can move into production once the answers, escalation rules, and lead handoff are approved. The "Guided pilot" badge is honest — this works in production, but it requires our active attention during the tuning window to keep working well.

What does "right to walk away" actually mean? +

It's not a money-back guarantee on the setup fee. It means there's no long-term contract — after 90 days, if the assistant isn't earning its keep, you can terminate the engagement, no penalty, no auto-renewal. You keep your approved content, configuration notes, transcripts you are entitled to retain, and handoff documentation. If the assistant depends on third-party software or hosting, continued operation requires keeping those accounts active or arranging handoff.

Does it work on Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, or custom sites? +

Yes to all of those. The assistant deploys via a JavaScript snippet that works on any modern website builder, including Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, and custom-built sites. If you're using a less common platform, mention it during the Free Scan and we'll confirm fit.

Can it answer pricing questions? +

Only if you approve fixed pricing language. Otherwise, it routes pricing questions to a human conversation. This is a deliberate design choice — chatbots that confidently make up prices create real liability.

Can it book appointments? +

Yes, if calendar handoff is included in scope and your scheduling tool supports it (Cal.com, Calendly, Acuity, etc.).

Can it update my CRM? +

Starter usually supports basic inbox or lead-sheet handoff. Custom CRM writeback (HubSpot, Salesforce, ActiveCampaign, etc.) belongs in Pro or Custom.

What happens if it doesn't know the answer? +

It says it doesn't know, captures the lead if appropriate, and routes the visitor to a human follow-up. This is the "escalation by default" rule — the assistant is configured to escalate rather than guess.

What if our website content is outdated or thin? +

We'll tell you before launch. Starter uses your existing site content and approved FAQs as the assistant's source material. If your service descriptions, pricing rules, policies, or intake criteria are unclear, contradictory, or out of date, we may recommend content cleanup or moving to a Pro Assistant before publishing the assistant live. The assistant is only as good as the source material — we'd rather flag that up front than let it hallucinate around bad content.

Can it handle sensitive data — health, legal, financial? +

Not in Starter. If a visitor types sensitive data into the chat, the Starter assistant escalates and stops processing. Regulated, medical, legal, financial, employee, or sensitive-data use cases belong in Pro or Custom with explicit scope, retention, and access controls.

What does monthly software/usage actually cost? +

Typical software/usage runs $50–$250/month depending on the vendor we select, your traffic volume, which AI model is used, how often the content gets refreshed, and which integrations are wired in. Final pricing is confirmed after vendor selection during the build.

What if traffic spikes — will my bill blow up? +

Where the selected vendor supports it, we configure spend caps, conversation limits, or alert thresholds during the build. If the platform does not support hard caps, we document the risk and recommend the safest available control. We discuss expected and worst-case volumes during the Free Scan and configure caps and alerts accordingly.

Do you mark up the software or usage? +

No. Software and usage are billed directly to you where possible, or passed through at cost. KV Intelligence does not take vendor commissions and does not mark up usage.

Can it support Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Portuguese? +

Pro Assistant can be scoped for multilingual configurations, including Spanish, Haitian Creole, and Brazilian Portuguese, after vendor testing confirms acceptable response quality. Specify your language requirements during the Free Scan.

Can we turn it off temporarily? +

Yes. Every deployment includes a documented kill-switch path so you can disable the assistant during launches, website updates, outages, or policy changes. Recovery is documented in the handoff materials.
